Seeing a Clinician
We are using eConsult for non urgent contacts and it is available Monday- Friday 8am-7pm but not on Public Holidays. No face to face booking of appointments is available unless a Clinician has invited you to attend the surgery. There will be a number of prebookable routine telephone appointments available with GPs and ANPs.
Due to the demand on our services we are currently unable to offer online booking of appointments as we have in the past. We will continue to monitor this and advise accordingly.
Home Visits – The weather or lack of transport are not reasons to request a house visit. If you are able to leave the house to attend appointments, the hairdressers or to go to the shops, in any form of transport, you are able to attend the GP Surgery.
Please use eConsult for test results, fit notes and admin enquiries also. We also have some extended access, bookable in advance routine telephone appointments with our ANPs. These are available at 8am for people who are working.

Urgent 'On-The-Day' Appointments
Urgent Triage is available every day between the hours of 8.30 am and 10:30 am. The Triage Clinician will speak to patients who feel that they need urgent advice that day. Patients should call the surgery before 10.30am giving their name and contact number and a reason for the urgent contact. Our Triage Clinician will prioritise the callbacks by the information that is given to the telephonist. The return call may be from a withheld number.
Out-of-Hours
The surgery will be closed every Wednesday between the hours of 1.00pm and 2.00pm for staff training purposes. Only emergencies will be dealt with during that hour.
Out-with these hours, weekends and public holidays, the practice has an arrangement with NHS 24. Please contact NHS 24 on 111 or access general medical information on the NHS 24 Website . If you use a textphone or are deaf or hard of hearing, you can call on 18001 08454 24 24 24.
Emergencies
If something serious or life threatening occurs, eg, heart attack or stroke, please call 999. For minor injuries please dial 111 and your call will be triaged at the minor injuries unit.
